Mr. James Winston Robbins, age 90, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Robbins is survived by his wife, Luenet Smith Robbins; daughters, Martha Batchelor & husband, Lee, Shelia Prescott & husband, Scott, Joan Mock & husband, Donald, and Carol Aplin & husband, Terrell; grandchildren, Kevin Bales & Amanda, Eric Prescott & Nicole, Derrek Prescott & Tammy, Holly Deshong & Eric, Tyler Mock & Kayla, and Cassie Chamblee & Braden; great-grandchildren, Maddie Creech, Rayne Prescott, Kaelyn Deshong, Denver Deshong, Henry Mock, and Logan Ray Aplin; brother-in-law, Elbert Smith; and sister-in-law, Lena Mae Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie Ida Wells Robbins and Joseph Jackson Robbins; grandson, Thomas David Aplin; brother, Kermit Robbins; and sisters, Cassie Marler, Ollie Jo Mills, Kate Bryant and Orene Silas.

Funeral services for Mr. James Winston Robbins will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arthur "Tiny" Hornsby and Elbert Smith will be officiating with Eric Prescott, Tyler Mock, Kevin Bales, Braden Chamblee, Jonathon Smith and Quinton Marler serving as pallbearers.
