H. Mullins, Jr.

Mr. William "Bill" H. Mullins, Jr, age 83, of Kinston, Alabama passed away at his home on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Bill served as an EMT for Kinston Rescue and a volunteer fireman for Kinston Fire. In 1984 he was elected the 17th Mayor of Kinston serving numerous terms until 2023. He proudly represented his country in the US Army for 8.5 years serving in Vietnam. He eventually retired from Civil Service at Ft. Rucker.
Mr. Mullins is survived by his wife of 62 years, Myra Martin Mullins; daughter, Sherry X. Reeves & husband, Drew; sister, Jeannie Swindall & husband, Scott; daughter-in-law, Bernadette Mullins; grandchildren, Andrew Reeves and Eli Mullins; and great-grandchild, Maddison Mullins. He was preceded in death by his son, William H. Mullins, III; parents, Sally Bentley Mullins and William "Billie" H. Mullins, Sr; and brother, John R. Mullins.
Funeral services for Mr. William "Bill" H. Mullins, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am Monday, May 19, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery in Elba, Alabama. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8. Bro. Danny Bradshaw will be officiating with Gary Glass, Richard Johnson, Hugh Taylor, Jamie Swindall, David Bentley and Kenneth Bentley serving as pallbearers.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
