Mr. Wendell T. Phillips, Sr. "Phil", age 87, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Debra Phillips Strickland & Raymond; son & daughter-in-law, Larry Wayne Phillips & Judy; daughter-in-law, Lynn Phillips; sister & brother-in-law, Ann Nelson & Royce; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hardage Phillips; son, Wendell T. Phillips, Jr; parents, Mamie Lee Gaines Phillips & Huey T. Phillips; sister, Elaine Phillips Williams; and infant brother, Tolbert Phillips.

Graveside services for Mr. Wendell T. Phillips, Sr. will be held at 1 pm Friday, November 27, 2020 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Gary Miller & Larry Jackson will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Phillips, Joseph Strickland, Phillips Strickland, Jonathon Phillips, Holt Lashley and Paul Dean. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside service.

Everyone in attendance will be required to wear a mask.
