Mr. Wendell R. Moore, age 79, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 in a Ft. Walton, Florida hospital.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Ann Childs Moore; daughter & son-in-law, Julie Moore Wilson and Chad; granddaughter, Madie Wilson; brothers, Jimmy Moore & Wilma, Billy Wayne Moore & Kathy, Mike Moore, Mickey Moore & Felicia, Ricky Moore & Amelia, and Terry Moore; sister-in-law, Carolyn Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline Harrison Moore; father, Isaac Moore & his wife, Oberia; and brother, Rexal Moore.

Funeral services for Mr. Wendell R. Moore will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 am until service time. Pastor Brian Smith will be officiating accompanied by eulogist, Beverly Colquett Taylor. Special music will be provided by Cameron Crapps, Allen Burgess and Connie Kelley. Serving as pallbearers will be Tad Moore, Shawn Moore, Dennis Wayne Moore, Jimmy Foster, Kyle Rhodes and Pat Taylor with The Dependables Sunday School Class serving as honorary pallbearers.
