Mr. James Wendell Mooney, age 77, of Opp, Alabama passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 in Andalusia Hospital.

Wendell is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Benton Mooney; daughters & sons-in-law, Maryann Mooney Beck & Pat and Laura Mooney & Evan Smith; son & daughter-in-law, Jim Mooney & Misty; mother, Maxine Mooney; brother, Wayne Mooney; and grandchildren, Patrick, Anna Dickson, Mattie, Kate, Molly Kate and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his father, J. B. Mooney.

A graveside service for Mr. James Wendell Mooney will be held at 2 pm Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Bro. Donald Hall will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Mooney, Pat Beck, Patrick Beck, Mattie Mooney-McMillan, Chris Mooney and Benton Bruce.
