Mr. Murray Wayne Mooney, 74, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in UAB Hospital.

Wayne is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Shandi Mooney James & Wade; son & daughter-in-law, Chris Mooney & Angie; mother, Maxine McVay Mooney; grandchildren, Kevin James, Bailey James, Brett James and Brady James; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Mooney. He was preceded in death by his father, J. B. Mooney; mother of his children, Pat Mooney; and brother, Wendell Mooney.

Graveside services for Mr. Murray Wayne Mooney will be held at 2 pm Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Gary Miller will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Brady James, Brett James, Kevin James, Jim Mooney, Pat Beck and Patrick Beck.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Shandi & Wade James, 703 Charlie St., Opp, AL 36467.
