Mr. Wayne Lowell Christopherson, age 83, of the Horn Hill Community (Opp, Al) passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 in the Opp Health & Rehab. He was born in South Dakota to his late parents, Sadie (Dahl) and Leonard Christopherson.

Mr. Christopherson is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Insley & husband, Scott; sons, Wayne L. Christopherson II & wife, Stacy, and Barry Krout & wife, Sherry; brother, Vinal Christopherson & wife, Beverly; grandchildren, Morgan Christopherson, Bria Cannizzaro & Stephen, Chelsey Lanier & Corey, Michelle Insley, Heather Maldonado & Gus, and Mindy Selby & P.J.; and numerous great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-six years, Sarah Shuman Christopherson.

A celebration of life will be held by his family at a later date.
