Mr. Thomas Wayne "BeBo" Boothe, age 60, of Opp, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Andalusia Health.

Wayne was born in Alabama on June 28, 1962 to his late parents, Frances Corine Butts Boothe and John Thomas Boothe. He retired from the City of Opp several years ago and in July 2018 came back to work part-time as the animal control officer. Wayne was a hard-working man who truly enjoyed helping others; when asked to do something by employers, friends, family or strangers - he never said no. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Marie Piland; sons, Lewis Boothe, and Michael Piland & wife, Kristi; daughters, Lynn Dubose & husband, Yancey, Sherry Anderson and Michell Anderson Fuller & husband, Joel; sisters, Sue Holmes and Gail Davis; 13 grandchildren; niece, Noel Holmes Warren & husband, Joseph; along with many cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Wayne "BeBo" Boothe will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Pine Level Cemetery, Coffee County, Alabama. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Rick Butler will be officiating with officers from the Opp Police Department serving as pallbearers.
