Mr. Walter Sheridan Kenney, age 90, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 in Wesley Place on Honeysuckle in Dothan, Alabama.

Mr. Kenney is survived by his wife, Thelma June Wheatly Kenney; children, Loneita June Boutwell, Roseiline Kenney Mathews & husband, Charles, Ruth Ann Kenney Carnley & husband, Larry, Wanda Sue Kenney Bowles & husband, Steve, and Walter Sheridan Kenney II & wife, Roberta; brother, Eugene Kenney & wife, Barbara; and 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Loneita Allen Kenney and William Melvin Kenney; siblings, Myrna Kenney, Clarence Kenney and William M. Kenney, Jr; grandchildren, Josh Bowles and T. J. Goodwin; and son-in-law, Jim Boutwell.

Mr. Kenney served his country well with 23 plus years in the United States Navy. Along with serving his country, he served the Lord by teaching and sharing His word with so many.

Graveside services for Mr. Walter Sheridan Kenney will be held at 11 am Monday, November 23, 2020 in Beulah Cemetery. Ben Praytor and Larry Wise will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside service.
