Mr. Tommy Joel Hughes, age 66, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his home.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his sons, Jeremy Hughes & wife, Sherry, and Matt Hughes & wife, Nikki; brother, Randy Hughes & wife, Pat; sisters, Rhonda Boland & husband, Don, and Tammy Myers & husband, Mike; 3 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nell Carr Hughes & Joel D. Hughes.

A memorial service for Mr. Tommy Joel Hughes will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 27, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Pastors Pete Roberts and Derwood Cleland will be officiating. A private interment will be held in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Tammy & Mike Myers, 404 James Loop, Opp, AL 36467.
