Mrs. Thelma June Kenney, age 92, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Kenney is survived by her daughters, Loneita June Boutwell, Ruth Ann Carnley & husband, Larry, and Wanda Sue Bowles & husband, Steve; son, Walter Sheridan Kenney, II & wife, Roberta; son-in-law, Charles Mathews; sister, Stancy Mentnech; brother, Adam Doyle Belyski; and 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kenney; daughter, Roseiline Kenney Mathews; grandchildren, Josh Bowles, T.J. Goodwin and Travis Bowles; brother, Johnny Wheatly; aunt, Edith Vallis; and parents, Annie Todd Wheatley and Walter Edward Wheatley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma June Kenney will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from Beulah Baptist Church with burial following in Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Ben Praytor will be officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at the Kenney home, 131 Sansom St., Kinston, Al 36453.
