Mr. Terry Lee Gatlin, age 62, of Opp, Alabama died Friday, November 18, 2022 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Terry is survived by his wife, Sonya Mooney Gatlin; daughter, Brandi Gatlin; grandsons, Colby Lee and Ronald Lane; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Mooney; uncle, Rufus Tillery & wife, Gladys; brother-in-law, Charles Mooney; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maudie Pearl Tillery Gatlin and Freddie Lee Gatlin; grandparents, Carrie & W. H. Tillery; and father-in-law, Ronald Mooney.

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Lee Gatlin will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 21, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home. Larry Jackson, Gary Miller, and Wayne Sharpe will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Chance, David Harrell, Jenkins Logan, Dean Polk, Justin Holland and Lee Edgar with members of the Union Grove Volunteer Fire Department, Opp Police Department, Covington County Sheriff's Office and Alabama State Troopers serving as honorary pallbearers.

The family will be receiving friends at the Gatlin home, 26871 Union Grove Road, Opp, Alabama 36467.
