Mrs. Sue Anderson, age 76, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

Sue was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She took notice of the things that people around her enjoyed - flowers, biscuits, peas, satsumas - and would always take care to make sure they had them. In her younger days, she enjoyed fishing with her husband, traveling all over South Alabama and the Florida panhandle to find a good fishing hole.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alex Anderson; son, Will Anderson & wife, Laura; and grandson, Walter Anderson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Wise; and parents, Fred and Merle Wise.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Anderson will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 20, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
