Dr. Robert Steve Boothe, age 81 of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Dr. Boothe is survived by his wife, Elaine Presley Boothe; daughter, Donna Kilpatrick & husband, Jon; son, Mark Boothe; brother, Rickey Boothe & wife, Janice; grandchildren, Jacob Kilpatrick & wife, Sarah, and Cowen Duggar & husband, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Carsin Duggar, Trenton Duggar, Addison Duggar, Jamie Kilpatrick and Avery Kilpatrick; along with numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline Cowen Boothe and T. J. Boothe; and sister-in-law, June Boothe.

Funeral services for Dr. Steve Boothe will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Bart Boothe, Michael Precise, Chad Boothe, Ben Courson, Chris Clark, Jacob Davis, Scott Parker and Ben Ramer.
