Mr. Stephen Lamar Dean, age 77, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Dovie Ann Helton Dean; daughter, Christy Diane Dean Ray & husband, Chuck; sons, Michael Steven Dean & wife, Kathlene, and Kelly Lamar Dean & wife, Paula; brother, Ronnie Clark Dean & wife, Mary Ann; sister, Miriam Lou Wooden & husband, Steve; nine grandchildren & fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou Clark Dean & James Perry Dean; brothers, George Thomas Dean, James Robert Dean, Alton LaDue Dean and Glendal Dean; and sisters, Susie Mae Edwards, Sara Janette Barnes and Mary Eleanor Smith.

Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Lamar Dean will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with military graveside honors following in Rhoades Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home. Jonathon Presley and Larry Mock will be officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Weeks Memorial Assembly of God in Kinston.
