SMSgt Roland B. Harrell, age 90, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

SMSgt Harrell served twenty years in the U.S. Air Force. He was privileged to see his sons and grandsons serve in the U.S. Air Force as well.

SMSgt Harrell is survived by his wife, Eurma Joyce Duncan Harrell; sons, Mark Wayne Harrell & wife, Jeanna, and John Cress Harrell & wife, Tia; sister-in-law, Oneita Harrell; grandchildren, Brock Harrell, Brandi Williams & husband, Phillip, Anthony Harrell and Brian Harrell; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Harrell; sisters, Sara Alice Robbins and Thelma Boothe; and parents, Hennie Orell Chapman Harrell and William Frank Harrell.

Funeral services for SMSgt Roland B. Harrell will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with military graveside honors following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Dr. Ben Chandler will be officiating.
