Mrs. Shirley Ann Thompson Ellison, age 83, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Ellison is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Tony Ellison & Cindy; daughter & son-in-law, Kim Ellison Ballard & Mike; sisters, Frances Prater, Estelle Ward, Voncille Tidwell and Joan Gwynne & husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Maria Elmore & husband, Brad, Timothy Ellison, Cody Ballard & wife, Destinee and Cameron Ballard; and great-grandchildren, Christian Drew, Brinlee Elmore and Brandt Elmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurtis Ellison; and parents, Willie Cordell Shirley Thompson and Willie Gaston Thompson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Thompson Ellison will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 13, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Jimmy Aaron will be officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Kim & Mike Ballard, 15982 Horn Hill Rd., Opp, Alabama 36467.
