Mrs. Shirley Harrison Cauley, age 72, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 in a Dothan hospital.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry E. Cauley; daughter & son-in-law, Sonya Cauley Deakins & John A.; son & daughter-in-law, Tim Cauley & Heather; sister, Vesta Mae Rhodes; brothers, Paul Harrison and Robey Harrison & wife, Martina; sister-in-law, Miriam Cauley Barlow & husband, Mack; grandchildren, Kolby Dyess, Kasey Dyess, Rebecca Layman & husband, Todd, and Brittany Crawley & husband, Derek; great-grandchildren, Lance, Casandra, James & Kynnedi Crawley; numerous nieces & nephews; and church family who affectionally knew her as "Mama Bear". She was preceded in death by her parents, Cressie Redmon Harrison and M. M. Harrison; and 10 brothers & sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Harrison Cauley will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Friendship Cemetery. Arthur "Tiny" Hornsby and Terry Godwin will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Clark, Josh King, Justin Thompson, Gaylon Griggers, Terry Daughtry and Brian Crain. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8.
