Mrs. Shirley Temple Farris Averett, age 74, of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Lady of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Mrs. Burns is survived by her daughters, Daphne Burns and Ginger Henderson & husband, John; son, Reginald Henderson & wife, Connie; sisters, Wanda Gayle Machicote, Pat Mauldin, Betty Ryan and Eloise Kirkpatrick; and four grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mrs. Shirley Temple Farris Averett will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Wayne Sharpe will be officiating.
