Mrs. Ruth Holley Wise, age 95, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 in Dothan, Alabama.

Mrs. Wise is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Larry Wise & Brenda; daughter & son-in-law, Marie Wise Styles & Thomas; grandchildren, Tracy Carnley McLain & husband, John, Derek Wise & wife, Sadie, David Wise, Rod Stephens & wife, Jessica, and Stephanie Stephens; and sixteen great-grandchildren & three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Judge Harold B. Wise; daughter, Patricia Gail Amezquita; brothers, John Frank Holley Jr., and Jean Holley; sister Marie Holley Norris; great-grandson, D. J. Wise; and parents, Lula Stephens Holley and John Frank Holley Sr.

A graveside service for Mrs. Ruth Holley Wise will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 23, 2026 in Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Shaun Moore will be officiating with David Wise, Austin Wise, Dustin Barfoot, Stacy Richards, Thomas Styles, Rod Stephens and Deral Driggers serving as pallbearers.

The family of Mrs. Ruth Holley Wise would like to thank the staff at Madison Heights and Kelly Place in Enterprise, Alabama for the past three years of care and support for their mother and grandmother.
