Mr. Roy B. Smith went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Roy B. was born February 16, 1955 in Opp, Alabama to his late parents, Pearlie Rushing Smith and John D. Smith. Roy was full of life and will be missed by many. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Roy B. is survived by his son, Derrick Smith & wife, Belinda; daughter, Kellie Smith Brown & husband, Charles; grandchildren, Sgt. Shayne Smith, Brianna McCann, Ashleigh Smith and Savanna Smith; brothers, Donald Smith & wife, Linda, and Johnny B. Smith; sisters, Judy Linzey, Joyce Jackson and Bonnie Nelson & husband, Benny; special friend, Sonya Richardson; and numerous nieces & nephews. Along with his parents, Roy B. was preceded in death by his twin brother, Charles Smith.

Funeral services for Mr. Roy B. Smith will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Bro. Carroll Parker will be officiating with Jody Wallace, Darwin Young, Shayne Smith, Charles Brown, Corey Wallace and Jr. Jackson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Roy's sister, Joyce Jackson, on Pure Road in the Onycha Community.
