Mrs. Rose Barton Wilkerson, age 75, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Andalusia Hospital. Rose was born in 1948 to her late parents, Mildred McVay Barton and Marvin Barton. She was a faithful member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her sisters, Rita Wilkerson, Mona Isenhour and Twyla Barton; brother, Bobby Barton & wife, Dale; special nephew, Vance Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Wilkerson; first husband, Bobby Brunson; two brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Barton Wilkerson will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 27, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Flint Harrelson will be officiating accompanied by eulogist, Bill Orange.
