Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” David Bass, age 59, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at his home.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Stephanie Smith Bass; daughters, Courtney Elizabeth Bass & Blake, and Sydnie Smith Hataway & Austin; grandchild, Reece James Fulghum; parents, Brenda C. & Charles H. Bass; brother, Tim Bass & wife, Martha; brother-in-law, Scott Smith & wife, Stephanie; and several nieces & nephews.

A graveside service for Mr. Ronnie Bass will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 24, 2026 in Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Billy Fortune will be officiating with members of the Covington County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse serving as pallbearers.

The family will be receiving friends in the fellowship hall of Beulah Baptist Church immediately following the graveside service.
