Mr. Rodney Harrison Gibson, age 93, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Flowers Hospital.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Mabel Wright Gibson; daughter, Kathy Gibson Cotton; son, Jon Gibson; grandchildren, Kelsey Cotton & Mitch, Daniel Cotton and David Cotton; and two great-grandchildren, Damian and Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaVeta Harrison Gibson and James Gibson; and sister, Betty Louise Gibson Cowen & husband, James W. (Bill) Cowen of Montgomery, Alabama.

Funeral services for Mr. Rodney Harrison Gibson will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 24, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Opp City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Brian Smith, Wayne Sharpe and Chris Weide will be officiating with Nolen Jackson, Neal Presley, Merrill Culverhouse, David Cotton, Daniel Cotton and Jacob Hornsby serving as pallbearers.
