Mr. James Rickey Grant, age 69, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Grant is survived by his wife, Marcia Bowers Grant; daughter, Megan Grant Anderson & husband, Josh; sons, Jason Grant & wife, Jerri, and Kevin Grant & wife, Brittney; brother, Mark Grant & wife, Kim; grandchildren, Jaden Grant, Andrew Grant, Bentley Grant, Gaige Grant and Hadlee Anderson; special uncle, Larry Grant & Leona; and special caregiver, Lynn Gunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jowers Grant and Gervis E. Grant; and brother, Ray Grant.

Funeral services for Mr. James Rickey Grant will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 3, 2025 from the Opp Church of Christ with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Trey Poole and Chris Adams will be officiating with Trevor Wallace, Jaden Grant, Adam Bowers, Trippy McGuire, Richard Moore and Gary Hall serving as pallbearers.
