Rex Lamar King, age 65 of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his home.

Rex is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Vivian Hamilton Donaldson & Wayne; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard King & Debbie, and Ray King & Glenna; long-time special friend, Vicki Lynn Smith; nieces and nephews, Alice & Dewey, Amy, Robyn & Kevin, Terry, Tim & Bobbie, Niki & Lee, Jacob, Bryan & Amber, Chris & Allie, Caitlin & Jacob, Gunner & Savannah, Tori, Sydney, Dylan, Noli, Ryan, Bella, Dakota, Kaleb, Miranda, Brayden, Bryan Jr., and Parrish; along with many other extended family members, close friends, and Northern Heights Baptist Church family. Rex was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Foy Blue King and Mrs. Nadine Jacobs King; and nephew, Johnny Thompson.

Graveside services for Mr. Rex Lamar King will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at New Ebenezer Cemetery in the Curtis Community. Jonathon Jones will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob King, Bryan Gay, Chris Gay, Dylan Reisnour, Doran Burton and Virgil Sasser. Visitation will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 from 6 until 8 pm at Wyatt Funeral Home.
