Mrs. Retha Johnson Hardage, age 104, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at her home. She was born in Covington County, Alabama on January 31, 1921 to her late parents, Mammie Barnes Johnson and B. B. Johnson.

Mrs. Hardage is survived by her son, Haywood Hardage. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Abe Hardage; brothers, Ferrin "Son" Johnson and Murry Johnson; and sisters, Gladys Gulley, Merle Anderson and Lecie Holley.

A graveside service for Mrs. Retha Johnson Hardage will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 6, 2025 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne Sharpe officiating. Flowers will be accepted.
