Ms. Regina Donaldson Short, age 56, of Opp, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from injuries sustained in a horse related accident. She had just finished doing what she loved - competing in a barrel racing event.

Regina is survived by her brothers, John Donaldson & his wife, Christine, and David Donaldson & his wife, Wendy; several nieces & nephews; numerous extended family members & close friends: and members of the horse & barrel racing community. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christin Short; niece, Sophie Donaldson; and parents, Barbara Gail Huggins Donaldson and Johnny Ray Donaldson.

A graveside service for Ms. Regina Donaldson Short will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Gary Miller will be officiating.
