Ms. Phyllis Lansdon Bean, age 77, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home.

Ms. Bean is survived by her son, Michael McCarty & partner, Tracy Ainsworth; daughter-in-law, Jan McCarty; sister, Janice Langley; grandchildren, Meagan Hancock & husband, Ryan, Morgan McCarty & wife, Lexie, and Kelsey McCarty; great-grandchildren, Jayden Hancock, Addison Hancock, Ella Hancock and Isabella McCarty; and niece, Tina Register & husband, Jamie. She was preceded in death by her companion of 41 years, John L. Bean; parents, Nell & Morgan Worley; and nephew, Al Fulford.

Graveside services for Ms. Phyllis Lansdon Bean will be held at 11 am Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Antioch Congregational Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 Saturday morning at Wyatt Funeral Home. Gary Smith and Shawn Mitchell will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Morgan McCarty, Ryan Hancock, Harold Adams, Dennis McCarty, Kevin Adams and Jamie Register.
