Mr. Carlton D. "PeeWee" Gautney, Jr., age 59, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Destin, Florida.

Mr. Gautney is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Carla Gautney Wiggins & Wade; mother, Betty Harrison Gautney; and grandchildren, Adalyn & Finn Wiggins. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlton D. Gautney, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. PeeWee Gautney will be held at 2 pm Friday, May 22, 2020 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Joe Farris and Trey Poole will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be the following members of the Opp Police Department: Chief Kevin Chance, Assistant Chief David Harrell, Sgt. Vernon Cowart, Officer Jabe Thompson, Officer Taylor Goodson, Officer Lee Edgar, Officer Kaleb Pinckard and Dispatcher Danny Hutto. All other law enforcement officials in attendance will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will be receiving friends at the Gautney home, 507 Walding Rd., Opp, Alabama 36467.
