Mrs. Pauline Mundy Shumaker, age 95, of Opp, Alabama (formerly of Anniston, AL) passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Shumaker is survived by her daughters, Linda Williams & husband, Dr. Bob Williams, and Lisa J. Conary & husband, Jon Conary; sister-in-law, Kay Mundy; granddaughter, Hannah Williams Whittington & husband, Dillon Whittington; and great-grandson, Glenn Whittington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Shumaker; parents, Roxie Cochran Mundy and Bobby Lee Mundy; and siblings, Allen Mundy, Vinnie Lee Mundy McMahon, Robert Mundy, Herbert Mundy, Charles Mundy and Clyde Mundy.

Pauline was born and raised in Anniston, Alabama. She trained as a nurse at Anniston Memorial Hospital. She moved to California where she met and married Floyd, who was in the US Navy. After many adventurous years in several different homes, they returned to Anniston. Pauline was the kindest, bravest, and most amazing mom. She is greatly missed.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Pauline Mundy Shumaker will be announced once those arrangements have been made. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church, c/o Vision Fund, P.O. Box 305, Opp, Alabama 36467.
