Mrs. Patsy Chance Hartzog, age 71, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Hartzog is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Amanda Chance Whitten & P-nut; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin Chance & Sonya; brothers, Don Carnley & Roselyn, Jimmy Carnley & Evelyn and Max Carnley; grandchildren, Katlyn Whitten White & Cameron, Cade Holbrook, Kloe Whitten, Drew Chance, Grant Whitten, Hal Whitten and Drayden Whitten; and great-grandson, Oliver James White. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Wayne Chance; second husband, Charles Hartzog; infant son, Steven Wayne Chance; and parents, Delley Jane Yancey Carnley & Alfred Curtis Carnley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Chance Hartzog will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rhoades Cemetery. Gary Miller will be officiating with special music by Robbie Shepard. Drew Chance, Cade Holbrook, Hal Whitten, Grant Whitten, Cameron White and Travis Carnley will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
