Ms. Nina Joyce Smith Wilcox, age 81, of Headland, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Wiregrass Nursing Home in Geneva.

Nina was a talented seamstress and cook; she enjoyed serving others. She was a member of Headland United Methodist Church.

Ms. Wilcox is survived by her son, Mark Wilcox & wife, Heather; daughter, Delynne Wilcox; sister, Susan Sumblin & husband, Tim; granddaughter, Shelli Solomon & husband, Carey; great-granddaughter, Elli Solomon; and numerous special nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Smith, Sr.; mother, Irone Boutwell Sumblin; step-father, Tolbert Sumblin; and brother, Howard Smith, Jr. & his wife, Saundra.

Graveside services for Ms. Nina Joyce Smith Wilcox will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Mark Wilcox will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice of Enterprise or the activities program at Wiregrass Nursing Home in Geneva.
