Mrs. Nellie Ruth Marshall, age 88, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at her home.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Ray Marshall; daughter, Wanda Roberts & husband, Pete; son, Ricky Marshall; brother, Leroy Parrish & wife, Warree; grandchildren, Christy Jenkins & Andy, Josh Myers & Vanessa, Heather Myers, Nancy Fredericks, Kyle Marshall & Allison, Casa Lloyd & Chris, and Cam Roberts & Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Karie Jenkins, Karleigh Jenkins, Braiden Myers, Jaelyn Myers, Ryder Myers, A. J. Robinson, Cayden Robinson, Rhett Ayers, Blakely Marshall, Ava Fredericks, Brennon Lloyd, Brody Lloyd, Ethan Roberts and Aiden Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Pearl Berry Parrish and Clifton Parrish; brothers, Sylvester Parrish and Tommy Parrish; infant sister; and daughter-in-law, Teresa Marshall.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Ruth Marshall will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 7, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Kyle Marshall and Pete Roberts will be officiating with Sister Pat Kelley accompanying the graveside service. Nathan Schultz, Michael Schultz, Tyler Graham, Terry Marshall, Mike Parrish and Josh Myers will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will be receiving friends at the Marshall family home, 417 W. Ida Ave., Opp, AL 36467.
