Mrs. Nell Hughes Harrelson, age 80, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Harrelson is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Hughes Boland & husband, Don, and Tammy Hughes Myers & husband, Mike; sons, Tommy Hughes and Randy Hughes & wife, Pat; and 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joel Hughes and Lindy Harrelson; and mother, Zelma Mae Carr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Hughes Harrelson will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 28, 2020 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Derwood Cleland will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Nelson, Justin Hughes, Jarad Hughes, Jeremy Hughes, Matt Hughes, Chase Schultz, Devin Schultz and Josh Myers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

It is the request of the family that all in attendance wear a mask and practice the social distance guidelines set forth by Governor Kay Ivey and Alabama Public Health.
