Mrs. Nellie Blair Catrett, age 94, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Catrett is survived by her sons, Larry Catrett & wife, Sue, David Catrett, Paul Catrett & wife, Cara, and Tony Catrett & wife, Sherry; sisters, Martha Jane Reeves & husband, Will, and Edna Turner & husband, Horace; grandchildren, Scott Catrett, Michelle Kilgore & Pat, Nicki Green & John, Elizabeth Virgen & Jose, Shannon Huggins & Britt, Lori Catrett Sauls & Stan, Sam Catrett & Mandy, and Wesley Catrett & Shay; and 18 great-grandchildren & 11 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Levi Catrett; grandson, Jared English; parents, Ollie Mae Strickland Blair & Herbert White Blair; sisters, Lois Jackson and Mary Anderson; and brothers, Earl Blair, Gerald Blair, Glenn Blair and Howard Blair.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Blair Catrett will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 18, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Ralph Rimmer will be officiating with special music by Roger McLain and Kelly McCullough. Wesley Catrett, Clay Green, Michael Catrett, Cameron White, Deven White and Sam Catrett will be serving as pallbearers with Caden Huggins and Logan McCarthy serving as honorary pallbearers.
