Nancy
Hager
October 29, 1941 – April 9, 2023
Nancy Lou (Ridgeway) Hager, has gone to be with the Lord this spring, April 2023. She passed peacefully in her home in Opp, Alabama.
She was a creative soul. Whether it be crocheting, or sewing, baking, or crafting, her gifts are treasured. She was always a giver. She was loved and will be missed. Her soul lives on in the people she has touched. She had a wonderful smile.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Wyatt Funeral Home and she was laid to rest at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp next to the rose bushes
Nancy is survived by her four children: Jeff and (wife) Marie Hager, Christina Hager, Laura and (husband) James Scharphorn, and her faithful son David Hager, who has cared for her unceasingly, over these many years, being by her side at the end of her time on this earth.
She was "NANA" to her grandchildren, and she will be missed and loved by: Mykenzie Hager, Jennifer Nadeau, Shianne Lalone, Trinity Scharphorn, Stephanie Hager, and Cody Carr. Along with her great-grandchildren: Gwen Moore, Blake Moore, Lucas Lalone.
Nancy is survived by her two sisters Diane and (husband) Bill Asakevich and LaVerne and (husband) Jerry McKinney. She was preceded in death by her loving brother William Ridgeway.
Mothers bring us into the world and it is hard to imagine a life without them. Saying good-bye is difficult, it just means the memories we have become more meaningful every day. A mother's influence is eternal.
