Monette Meeks Barr, age 75, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Monette is survived by her daughter, Melody Barr King & husband, Chris; son, Jeremy Barr & Candace; brother, Bookey Meeks & wife, Linda; and grandchildren, Drake King, Alex Barr, Morgan Barr and Mason Barr. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Gavin Barr; and parents, Lenora Sheffield Meeks and Bookey Cager Meeks.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
