Mr. Milton Ellison Thrash, age 90, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Thrash is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Alan Thrash & Diane; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie Thrash Daughtry & Mike; grandchildren, Patrick Thrash & wife, Kim, Jessica Miller & husband, Mark, Aaron Daughtry and Kaci Daughtry Perry & husband, Mark; great-grandchildren, Graci & Andrew Kidd, MacKenzie & Rylie Kate Thrash, Ben & John Miller, and Reed, Ryan & Rollin Perry; brother-in-law, Wayne Jones & wife, Barbara; sisters-in-law, Carmaletta Hawthorne, Lera Ellison and Doris Jones; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Willodean Jones Thrash; parents, Vera McKenzie Thrash and Ellison Thrash; sister, Ida Pearl Rachel & husband, J.W.; brothers-in-law, J.D. Jones & wife, Doris, Winston Jones, Wilburn "Red" Ellison, Mike Jones & wife, Faye, and Billy Hawthorne; sister-in-law, Betty Kendrick & husband, Jerry.

Funeral services for Mr. Milton Ellison Thrash will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, November 8, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. James Kilpatrick will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Rachel, Earl Rachel, Robert Rachel, Tim Jones, Bruce Jones and Scottie Hawthorne.
