Mrs. Mildred Beasley Short, age 95, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at her nieces home in Montgomery.

Mrs. Short is survived by her sister, Doris Beasley McCann & husband, Boyd; nieces, Beverly Beasley Tomberlin, Linda Jones McDaniel & husband, David, and Julie McCann Mollohan & husband, Doug; nephew, Tim McCann & wife, Trish; great-nephews, James Scott Tomberlin and Brian Keith Tomberlin; and great-great nephew, James Cameron Tomberlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Short; sister, Betty Beasley Jones; brother, Emmett Dawson Beasley; and parents, Katie Rachel Beasley and Charles Emmett Beasley.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mildred Beasley Short will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 6, 2023 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Danny Bess will be officiating.
