Mr. Michael Ray Solomon, Sr., age 70, of Opp, Alabama died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mike is survived by his wife, Ginger Wilson Solomon; sons, Michael R. Solomon, Jr. & wife, Kim, and Walton W. Solomon; brother, Harold Solomon; sisters, Hazel Adams, Dorothy Rasnek and Janet Sewell; grandchildren, Chloe Solomon, Drake Solomon and Wesley Solomon Smith; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cumi Alice Lee Solomon & Rufus Oliver Solomon.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, June 21, 2020 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Larry Jackson will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Carmack, Billy Cauley, Jimmy Hutto, Mike Rhodes, Donnie Lester and Ronnie Rasnek.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, charity of one's choice or your church.
