Mr. Maxwell "Max" Wayne Norris, age 78, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Norris is survived by his wife, JoAnn Norris; daughter, Tammy Young & husband, Ricky; son, Darren Norris & wife, Karen; brother, Jerry Norris & wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Shana Norris, Garrett Golden and Summer Parker & husband, Jerrod; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Strickland Norris and Clanfort Norris; and brothers, Hayward Norris and Hinton Norris.

Funeral services for Mr. Maxwell "Max" Wayne Norris will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Joel Calhoun will be officiating with Jason Norris, Robert Brown, Charles Brown, Richard Norris, Todd Norris and Frank Robinson serving as pallbearers.
