Mrs. Maxine Kennedy Marshall, age 78, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Mike Marshall; daughters, Tammy Edgar & husband, Mike, and Mindy Bush & husband, Tim; son, Jason Morris & wife, Karen; step-sons, Michael Marshall and Chuck Marshall & wife, Terry; grandchildren, Jonathan Morgan & wife, Krystal, Troy Hollinghead & wife, TaShawna, Hannah Morgan, Morgan Henderson & husband, DJ, Hayley Russell, Haylei Henagan, Zoe Morris, Stephanie, Gloria, Meagan, Johanna and Jarrett; 24 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren; and special cousin, Michael Henagan. She was preceded in death by her son, LaDon Morgan; late husband, John Linzy; and parents, Samuel Allen Kennedy, Esther Kennedy, Samuel Clyde Kennedy and Juanita Rhodes Kennedy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Kennedy Marshall will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Ino Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 until 8. Bro. Flint Harrelson and Bro. Garry Winstead will be officiating with Colt Bush, Callahan Bush, Cody Bush, Troy Hollinghead, Jonathan Morgan and Lynn Bass serving as pallbearers. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Blue Springs Baptist Church or Ino Baptist Church.

The family will be receiving friends at the Marshall home, 25244 Anderson Estates Lane Lot 16, Opp, AL 36467.
