Mrs. Martha Ann Meeks, age 79, of Opp, Alabama passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at Opp Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Meeks is survived by her daughter, Wendy Ballard and her husband, Brett; son, Chris Meeks and his wife, Kristi; sisters,  Shirley Gautney (Billy), Jackie Labriola (Charles), Charlotte Williamson (James), Wanda Morrow (Darrell), Beverly Bruce (Nix) and Jamie Jackson (Allen); grandchildren, Kyle Wyatt and his wife, Kerri, Alex Ann Ballard, Sara Davis and her husband, Ethan, Walt Meeks, Molly Meeks (Perry Yelverton) and Wes Meeks;  great-great grandchildren, Kali Belle , Klayte and Kyler Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyndell Meeks; and parents, Walter James Bailey, Johnnie Pearl Rogers Bailey and Billie Yancey Bailey.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann Meeks will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Wyatt Funeral Home with visitation held one hour before.  Burial to follow at Brooklyn Cemetery.  Serving as pall bearers are Kyle Wyatt, Walt Meeks, Wes Meeks, Ethan Davis, Perry Yelverton and Rod Meeks.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of daughter, Wendy Ballard, at 29711 Dyess Dairy Road, Opp, AL  36467.
