Martha Jo Cain, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at River Valley Rehabilitation Center in Blountstown, Florida.

Martha Jo was a 1958 graduate of Opp High School. Shortly after graduating, she married the love of her life, Harold David Cain, and together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, faith, and devotion.

A talented cosmetologist and devoted homemaker, Martha Jo dedicated her life to serving others. She was a faithful member of Westview Baptist Church, where she was known for her unwavering faith and compassionate heart. Martha Jo deeply cared for those around her and was widely recognized as a prayer warrior whose gentle spirit touched countless lives. Above all else, her greatest joy was her son, Jason, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her uncle, Kenneth Short and his wife, Jane; Kendall Riley and her husband, Ralph; her brother, Richard Parr and his wife, Alecia; her brothers-in-law, Max Cain and Hayes Cain; her sister-in-law, Betty Linville; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold David Cain; her son, Jason Cain; her mother, Edna Parr; her stepfather, Bob Parr; and her lifelong friend, Joy Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.

Brother Larry Jackson will officiate the service, with special music provided by Kay Bellino.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ralph Riley, Eddie Span, Tim Wyatt, Raymond Worley, Randy Williams, and Bo Dillard.
