Mrs. Lynelle Gordon Gent, age 78, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 at her home.

Lynelle was born on August 10, 1947 in Sandpoint, Idaho to her late parents, Ida Ruth Williamson Gordon and Albert Edwin Gordon. She was a Registered Nurse at Mizell Memorial Hospital for 47 years before her retirement.

Mrs. Gent is survived by her daughter, Jessica Craig & husband, Joey; sons, Johnny Ray Beckworth & wife, Diane, and Michael Beckworth & wife, Kathy; brothers, Eddie Gordon & Merlene, and Bobby Gordon & Juanita; sisters, Jan Butts & Richard, and Quinella Vanarsdall & Johnny; and grandchildren, Tyler Beckworth and Grace Craig. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Gent; brother, Jim Gordon; and sister, Brenda Willoughby.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lynelle Gordon Gent will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 2, 2026 from Westview Assembly of God Church with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Bro. Phillip Rayburn will be officiating.
