Ms. Lucile DuBose Bryan, age 99, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 29, 2024 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray DuBose and Ed DuBose; and parents, Buna Mae Thrower DuBose & O. S. DuBose.

Lucile is survived by her daughters, Jackie Newton & husband, Bill, and Barbara Harbuck; and sister-in-law, Euna DuBose; her grandchildren, Shawn Newton, Scott Harbuck, Gresham Harbuck, and Saige Leopard; her great-granchildren, Scotti Hughes, Nathan Harbuck, Nichole Harbuck, Hunter Harbuck, Ryan Harbuck, Maddi Harbuck, Jacob Newton, Brody Newton and Rosalie Leopard.

'Memother' was full of love and compassion for everyone, and especially for her family.  She never wavered in her support and caring for all of her life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

While her body may have been tired and worn, her spirit was always strong.  She was ready to walk with the Lord.

Funeral services for Ms. Lucile DuBose Bryan will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 2, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
