Mrs. Louise Martin Cook, age 99, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her daughters, Rita F. Walsh & husband, Gary, and Anita K. Gibson & husband, Alfred; grandchildren,  Christina Jernigan & Donald, Steven Cook & Vanessa, Shaun Cook & Laura, Ian Seamus Walsh & Karina, Shea Nolan Walsh, Allison Louise Wallace & Austin, and Kimberly Elaine Eveland & Dameon; and numerous great & great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Ernest Cook; son, Ernest Cook; brothers, Roy Martin and Robert Martin; and sisters, Marella Gomillion and Stella Geohagan.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Martin Cook will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 24, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Trey Poole will be officiating with Elder of the Opp Church of Christ serving as pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Opp Church of Christ.
