Mr. Melbourn Lloyd Sellers, Sr., age 90, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at his daughter's home in Greenville, Alabama.

Mr. Sellers is survived by his sons, Mel Sellers & wife, Jansen, and Sean Sellers; daughter, Stacy Sellers Davis & husband, John Mark; grandchildren, Shona Dunn, Eian Davis, Christian Davis, Joel Sellers and Leah Davis; and brother-in-law, Guy Meadows. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Margaret Meadows Sellers; parents, Gertrude Newman Sellers and Arthur Sellers; sisters, Helen Jennings and Maenette Wendling; and brothers, James Sellers and Glen Sellers.

Funeral services for Mr. Melbourn Lloyd Sellers, Sr. will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2023 from the Opp Church of Christ with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Trey Poole will be officiating with Mel Sellers and Sean Sellers sharing personal sentiments about their father. Serving as pallbearers will be Mel Sellers, Joel Sellers, John Mark Davis, Scott Chambless, Roger Chambless, Ron Stallworth and William Dill.
