Mr. Lamar Morris, age 91, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Dean Moody Morris; daughter, Joan Johnson & John; grandchildren, Brittany Matthews & Bryan, Whitney Salyer & Greg, Jayme DuBose & Brittany and Zane Johnson & Tessa; and great-grandchildren, Samuel Matthews, Hannah Grace Matthews, Brylee Grace DuBose, Everlee Jewell DuBose and Hazel Marie DuBose. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda DuBose; brothers, Johnny, Frank, Ammie, Edlow and Marvin Morris; sisters, Cora Dee Nelson, Chessie Lee Burditt, Mattie Lou Boothe, Pearl Wilks, Ethel Sims and Annie Booth; and parents, Anna Jones Morris and William Jefferson Morris.

Funeral services for Mr. Lamar Morris will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 12, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Jimmy Aaron will be officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home.
